Can I see and edit the code?
Yes. Every project has a code view next to the live preview, so you can read every file Enter writes.
Edit the code directly, or ask for a change in the chat and review what changed. For bigger changes,
Plan Mode lays out the steps first, so you approve the approach before any code is touched.
Am I locked in to Enter?
No. Sync the project with GitHub so the code also lives in your own repository, where your team can
review it and keep working in their own tools. You can keep building and shipping from Enter, or carry
on from the repository. Either way, the code is yours.
What stack does Enter build with?
Frontends are built with React, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind CSS. The backend runs on Enter Cloud,
which gives every project a database, file storage, user sign-in, and cloud functions for server-side
logic. You don't provision servers or configure any of it yourself.
Which AI models can I use?
Enter works with more than 20 AI models, including GPT, Claude, and Gemini models. Choose a model
yourself, or leave it on Auto and let Enter pick one for each task. If your app needs AI itself, AI
All adds text, image, music, and video generation without separate model accounts or API keys.
Can I start from an existing repository?
Yes. Import a repository from GitHub and keep building on it in Enter. You can also start from a
prompt, a screenshot, or a template, and connect Figma or Notion so Enter can work from the designs
and specs your team already has.
How are API keys and secrets handled?
Store them in Secrets Management instead of in your code. Cloud functions read them on the server, so
they are never shipped to the browser. When a feature needs a third-party key, Enter asks you to paste
it into a secure form rather than into the chat.
Can my app take payments?
Yes. Connect Stripe to take one-time payments and subscriptions, and keep customers and orders in your
Enter Cloud database. Ask for plans, a pricing page, or a checkout in the chat, and Enter builds them
into the same project.
Can my team work in the same project?
Yes. Invite teammates to a project and give each person a role, so everyone works on the same live
version. Save your team's conventions as Skills, and Enter follows them in every request instead of
you repeating them each time.
